Actually, Matze had hoped his bottle would swim at least as far as Australia. But when Lika from West Berlin replies, the whole thing becomes much more exciting than expected, because this part of the city is as unknown to him as a distant country - and forbidden at that. But how are you supposed to get to know each other when a wall divides the city? And how are the two children supposed to meet without their parents noticing?
